What Customers Say About Battlefield: Bad Company Gold Edition:

You'll windup getting all the weapons anyway. Waste of an extra $10 imo. As much as I like the COD series, I like this better. The onlinegame is the best. But don't buy the gold edition.

but the question is "is there ppl still playing it online." if so GO & BUY IT ;) u can describe it just like my title described it ,it's soooo fun to play.i recommended for ppl still didn't played it.

I bought this game on a whim during a Gold Box special. Unfortunately the game does have a few issues. Needless to say my fears were unfounded because I have been hooked on this game since day 1. It took me awhile to get the hang of the controls mainly because as I said I don't really play these type of games often but once you have them figured out it is pretty intuitive IMO.

Overall I'd say this is a five star game if they could just fix those minor issues with the online play. Sometimes (rarely) I get lag on the online games which makes them nearly unplayable. Usually this is straightened out within a round or two though as other players sign on. In the meantime it gets four stars from me and a hope that either some updates or a sequel gets released soon. There are a few other issues that others have mentioned that are apparently lacking in this game but being new to online gaming they don't really bother me as much as they may others. I've never been a big fan of 1st person shooters or online gaming so I was skeptical about how much I would actually enjoy it.

There also does not seem to be a way for the servers to even out the games so occasionally you will be playing a round and all of a sudden most of your team or the other team is gone. If you're looking for an all around great time waster though don't hesitate to pick this one up. I can't really say much about the single player campaign because honestly the multiplayer is so fantastic that I haven't even made it past the opening scenes of the solo game. The graphics are great and as others have said the sounds are among the best I've ever heard in a game (I especially love the AA guns and the Barrett M95 sniper rifle).

The major flaw in the game is once played it keeps repeating the same game. Recommendation is to rent the game until played through and move on to other games. The use of items is learned mostly by trial and error. The scenarios do not change. Really unfortunate since this game has some real potential if some variety could be introduced. The game is weak at spots. The explosive capabilities are really incredible.

The single player is just blah. And, MGS4. Think of it as a tutorial; a place where you get used to your tools of the trade, so to speak. But multiplayer. Class-based, land/air/sea vehicles, nearly completely destructable environments, the most beautiful sounding, wide dynamic, realistic sounds I have ever heard in a game, graphics are excellent, now has capture the flag, 24 player maps, and these maps are expansive. It's just good times for all. Hello folks,Even to this day, I play the PC version of BF2.

See the huge difference in sound, graphics, expansive maps. Why do so many folks play COD games. Honestly folks.Put in a COD game, even the latest one, then pop in Bad Company. You see, in my view, COD4 is a toy.

It is an arcade style game, with all of that up close, intense, in-your-face, run-and-gun action. It is still very fun, and I see a lot of folks on.Sooo.It was nice to see BF4 (Bad Company) come out; I had to give it a buy. I miss killing you already. Really, really, really fun multiplayer. You feel like an old man running around. Massively over-hyped; It should be illegal, I tell ya.But, BF4's MP.

;)October 30, 2008 Update: They have just added-in a bunch more free maps. Crappy single player mode, it was so linear, so confining. And its multiplayer.

COD4 and WoW have such cheap graphics and sound. BC wins hands down.Regards,JohnYoga

Yahoo.November 12, 2008 Update: I have been playing COD: World at War, and Bad Company is so much better. I am glad I did.

Sometimes I just love chillin' out in the game somewhere a little off from the action, listening to the fantastic war sounds.Absolutely beautiful to the ears.Join the fun. Lame.

Ahh, yes, very nice. Come on.Why all the hype.
